Chrome Horse® 5 speed transmission case (Patent No. 412,466) cast in CNC machined permanent molds from A356 aluminum and hardened to T6 specification, then fully machined on state-of-the-art Mazak FH Horizontal Machining Center.
Extra case thickness and full support gusets where needed.. Chrome Horse® polished billet trap door machined from 6061-T651 aluminum. Close ratio Andrews or Jims gears and shafts which feature high nickle alloy gears for maximum strength and lead in ramps for quicker, more positive shifting. Cases available in cast finish, polished finish or black powder coat. Black powder coat cases available with or without speedo hole, other finishes available with speedo hole only.
